We are delighted to announce we have signed a support contract with Castleman Academy Trust, to provide marketing support to the Trust and their schools.

The Trust is based in Dorset and currently includes 2 schools – Broadstone First School and Broadstone Middle School. Both schools will receive marketing support as required, to include design, video, PR, website and social media updates.

Our support contract is specifically designed for Multi Academy Trusts. Each school receives a quantity of credits, applicable for the whole year, which they can use as they wish. Different marketing activities, such as press releases, logo designs, videos and photography, all have a credit allocation, so each school can consider what marketing activities they feel they want to undertake, and use their credits as appropriate. The contract is administered by the Trust as a central resource, and each school can pay a contribution from their own budgets if the Trust decides.

Rhonda Mooore, CEO of the Castleman Academy Trust, is excited to begin the contract:

We have been working with The Collective.Education for some time now and have always been delighted with the level of support they offer. With a more permanent arrangement in place we are stepping up our marketing for both schools, beginning with a new logo for Broadstone First School. Our profile within the community is very important to us and so having The Collective onboard to help us is a key aspect of our longer term aspirations.

Simon Harrison, Project Director for The Collective, echoed Rhonda’s comments:

Like many businesses, schools are having to compete in their communities for their customers i.e. new pupils and so having a consistent and professional marketing presence is very important. Through our unique credit-based support contracts, we can support schools and give them the flexibility to pivot their marketing as required. The current pandemic has been incredibly challenging for schools and so we are thrilled we can help to boost both schools profiles and reflect the pride of everyone associated with both schools.

The Castleman Academy Trust (CAT) is named after Charles Castleman, a Wimborne solicitor who was chiefly responsible for the building of the railway line that operated between Southampton to Dorchester in 1847. Castleman was a great visionary and entrepreneur and was passionate about developing the local area. Just like Charles Castleman, CAT is passionate about developing the talent and potential of young people in the area and committed to ensuring all young people in its schools experience inspirational learning. Created in September 2014, the Trust’s sole purpose is to “advance education for public benefit” and describes itself as a charity that strives to provide high quality education to children and young people.
