Heatherlands Primary School

Heatherlands Primary School, based in Poole, is a school full of love and care for each other and its environment. The school is a three form entry maintained community school with a recent ‘good’ status achieved from their Ofsted report. The report praised the school’s consistently good teaching and guidance that teachers provide for their pupils.

what they wanted?

Heatherlands was a thriving school achieving excellent academic results, but was in need of some PR within the local community to raise its profile.

The school had never done any external marketing and so welcomed the opportunity to discuss what options were available.

At the same time, they were keen to replace their outdated logo and their prospectus.

what we did?

We redesigned their school logo to better reflect their image and requirements for a more modern design.

We undertook a full day photoshoot to capture the children engaging in various classroom-based activities.

To promote the school within the community, we interviewed staff and then designed and wrote an editorial piece for the local newspaper that attracted wide-spread attention and contributed toward an uptake in visitors.

We also redesigned and printed their school prospectus.
