Oakwood Primary School

Oakwood Primary School is located in Southampton, and was recently identified by Ofsted as ‘an exciting place to learn’. They follow their school motto of ‘achieving excellence together’ by encouraging personal development and allowing children to achieve the best they can. Oakwood is a UN Rights Respecting School, teaching about children’s rights but also modelling rights and respect in all its relationships.

what they wanted?

To help promote themselves better to the local community, the school initially realised they needed a values-style video to communicate their ethos to parents.

They also were aware their website was out of date and difficult to work with, and realised their library of photos was out of date, featuring children who had left the school.

what we did?

We developed a new website for the school, based in WordPress but using an interface that made future updates by the school very easy to do.

Whilst producing the new site, we also filmed and edited a new Prospectus-style video and carried out a full photo-shoot to provide a library of images for use on the new website and around the school.

We continue to support the school on a monthly basis with website updates and hosting.
