It’s true!! An open evening for new parents and students this coming Autumn is going to be almost impossible in the current climate.

So how do you ensure your prospective new students can at least get to meet some of their potential teachers, and have a look around your school. The answer is Virtual Open Evening Tours!

By creating a series of videos, you can show students and parents some of your main facilities (perhaps the Hall, Dining Room, Music Room, a selection of classrooms etc) and also focus in on your key subjects, to provide that valuable information that will allow a parent to make the decision to send their child to your school.

A virtual tour ‘video’ can be produced either as a video or alternatively you can have it produced using 360degree photography. This allows the viewer to work their way around the school from the comfort of their armchair, with key points of interest marked and even links to pages on your website to provide further information. A full tour video adds the extra dimension of a voice-over or graphics to illustrate key points.

Subject videos allow you to focus in on the key topics that you specialise in or that you are recognised for. You can introduce relevant teachers or maybe have existing students extolling the virtues of their time at your school.

The power of video for communicating messages to your new parents and students is very strong, and a perfect way to address the current difficulties with visitors to your school.

Here at The Education Collective we understand the challenges you face, and have put together a series of opportunities for your school to promote itself, and communicate to new parents and students. We’d be delighted to discuss your requirements for this coming Autumn, and can also put together a bespoke package of video and photography support if you wish.
